The Center for Applied Neuroscience (CAN), of the University of Cyprus hosts its kick-off conference on September 19th, 2011. The conference runs from 9:00a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Anastasios Leventis Building (Room Β100), University Campus, University of Cyprus, Nicosia.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the CAN’s mission and research activities on high-incident neurological, developmental and psychological disorders that affect the Cyprus population. In particular, CAN’s research team, and distinguish local and international collaborators will present their research activities on high-incident disorders of the nervous system (such as dementia, head injuries, dyslexia, emotional disorders), on methods of assessment and diagnosis of such disorders, on the development of predictive and prognostic models, and on methods for clinical rehabilitation.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to be involved directly or indirectly to the research activities of the Center.
